Builo Terms of Service

The service and these terms

Builo is operated by Devon Schell. The operator is an individual / sole proprietor in New York, United States, not an LLC or corporation. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. The Privacy Policy explains how information is processed. These terms cover the website, browser application, iPhone application and public community. The beta is currently free to use, and we do not currently charge membership fees, entry fees or other fees to participate. The beta is evolving and may contain errors, interruptions or changes. A beta request is not an account, invitation or guaranteed offer of access.

Accounts and eligibility

Use accurate account information, protect your credentials and register through Builo’s public email/password registration. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement. Do not share accounts, impersonate others or bypass registration, access, eligibility or financial publication controls. You are responsible for your account activity, subject to applicable law.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Builo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, reproduce, format, transmit and display your content only as needed to operate and provide the service according to your visibility choices. Service providers may process it for those purposes. This permission ends when the content is removed from active service, except as needed for restricted backups, legal obligations, security and audit records or copies already shared with others. You must have the rights and authority needed to share company information or other content. Do not publish confidential information belonging to someone else.

Community conduct

Do not harass, threaten, unlawfully discriminate, spam, scam, share illegal or exploitative content, or infringe privacy, intellectual-property or other rights. Do not manipulate rankings, falsify financial evidence, attempt unauthorized access or interfere with security. We may remove content or restrict access where reasonably necessary to enforce these rules, protect users or comply with law. Report abuse, copyright concerns or security issues to [email protected] with relevant public links and a description. Do not include passwords, one-time links or private financial exports. Contact support if you believe an action was mistaken.

Companies and verified metrics

Only authorized owners and administrators may connect or manage a company’s financial source. Stripe verification is read-only and subject to scope, currency, coverage, freshness and integrity checks. Verified metrics describe only the eligible source, period, currency and methodology displayed; they are not a financial audit, accounting statement, investment recommendation, guarantee of results or endorsement of a company. Available verified history is not complete company lifetime revenue. Coverage gaps, corrections, refunds, disputes, freshness and invalid growth baselines can limit availability. Do not represent an ordinary textual revenue claim as independently verified merely because its author has a connected business.

Connection is separate from publication. Each post independently requires explicit approval of its own verified card; posting text or media never requires financial verification. Company-profile disclosures and leaderboard participation have separate authorization and withdrawal controls. You can withdraw supported public sharing. Previously shared evidence, screenshots or third-party copies may remain outside Builo’s control.

Clubs, sprints and rankings

Participation is subject to the relevant membership, scope and eligibility rules. Current beta sprints do not offer verified competition standings. Nothing in this beta promises entry-fee pools, betting, payouts, prizes or monetization. Leaderboard participation is optional.

Availability, third parties and risk

Builo relies on third-party infrastructure and connected providers whose availability and terms may affect the service. Beta features may change or be withdrawn. To the extent allowed by applicable law, the beta is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or particular business outcomes. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Leaving and termination

You may stop using the beta and request account deletion through support. Public financial sharing should also be withdrawn using the relevant app controls. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, security risks or legal requirements, with notice where appropriate. Retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of New York, United States, subject to mandatory applicable legal protections. If applicable law gives you mandatory rights or a right to bring proceedings in another court, these terms do not take those rights away. Contact support first if you wish to raise a dispute.
